International Students
Applications for the 2012-2013 academic year are currently being accepted.
- Schedule a campus visit anytime during the application process. It is not always required, but very important.
- Obtain application forms and handbook from this website or admissions office.
- Complete and return the parent and student pages of the handbook along with the $150 application fee.
- Request school transcript and the Principal Recommendation from your current school. Please use the forms in the application.
- Ask a professional of your choice (teacher, counselor, coach, youth worker, pastor) to complete and return the Professional Recommendation form.
- Obtain a doctor’s physical with a copy of your immunization record. Please use form in the application.
- Applications are considered complete when Oakdale has received all pages of the application forms, medical forms, school transcript, recommendation forms and application fee.
- Some applicants maybe required by the admissions committee to visit campus prior to the committee making an acceptance decision.

Acceptance
Applications are reviewed by the Admissions Committee once they are complete. The Admissions Committee is responsible for deciding if applicants will be accepted for enrollment. There is a $250 I-20 processing fee, which will be assessed once a student is accepted and must be paid before the I-20 will be issued.
VISA Information
- Submit to Oakdale Christian Academy official documentation of funds available to cover all expenses involved in attending school and necessary provisions for the student during this time. This documentation will serve as proof of financial responsibility and may include a letter from an employer, letter from a bank, letter from a sponsor demonstrating their ability to pay, etc.
- Once a student is accepted and proof of financial responsibility has been demonstrated the student will be sent a Form I-20 and entered into the U.S. Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS).
- Review U.S. international student information at www.ice.gov/sevis.
- Pay SEVIS fee online at www.fmjfee.com and print I-901.
- Schedule an interview with the U.S. Embassy.
- Take the Form I-20, I-901, original financial documentation, and letter of acceptance to the Embassy interview.
Enrollment
After being accepted, payment for the first semester of attendance will reserve your place at Oakdale.
Enrolling parent(s)/guardian(s) are encouraged to visit campus prior to enrollment or at the time of enrollment.
