| Summer
School 2008 Summer school is offered as an opportunity for academic enrichment. It allows students to focus on areas that need extra attention or to get ahead in classes in preparation for the next school year. Students can take up to three classes and earn an semester's worth of credit for each class. In addition to the academic program, summer school is full of personal growth opportunities and recreational activities. Summer school is also a wonderful time for new students to adjust to academic demands and life at Oakdale. Summer school at Oakdale is for students who are eager to experience life in new ways by focusing on academics, growing in their relationship with God, developing meaningful relationships with others and being a part of a diverse community in a Christian environment. Applying for Summer School The application process for summer school is the same as all other admissions. The deadline for summer school applications is April 1. Following the application deadline, applications will be given individual consideration as space allows. Generally, when a student is accepted for summer school he or she is also accepted for the following fall. To learn about the application process and obtain the application click here.
