Graduation Requirements
A minimum of 22 semester credit hours is required for graduation (credits awarded in ½-credit increments each semester).

Academic Credit Requirements
- English – 4 years (minimum 4 credits)
Mathematics – minimum 3 credits, including:
Algebra I
Algebra II
Geometry
Science – minimum 3 credits, including:
1 credit Biology
½ credit Chemistry
½ credit Physics
½ credit Earth/Space Science
(At least one course must include a lab component.)
Social Science – minimum 3 credits, including:
1 credit U.S. History
1 credit World History
½ credit American Government
½ credit Economics
Bible – 2 credits
(All Oakdale students must remain enrolled in Bible courses.)
Foreign Language – 2 credits of the same language
(Or equivalent demonstrated proficiency.)
Visual & Performing Arts – 1 credit, including:
½ credit Art History/Appreciation
½ credit Senior Drama
Health – ½ credit
Physical Education – ½ credit (or approved equivalent)
- Computer – ½ credit
- Speech – ½ credit
- Electives – 2 credits

English III
English IV
Algebra II or higher
Biology
U.S. History
One full credit of Bible
Senior Drama
Exceptions: The administration may, under extraordinary circumstances, waive the requirement to take a specific course at Oakdale. However, Oakdale will always meet or exceed the graduation requirements established by:
- The State of Kentucky
- Cognia
- ACSI
- Other accrediting bodies
