OCA Drama Club
The Oakdale Christian Academy Drama Club is one of the most anticipated parts of student life, blending creativity, teamwork, and faith into an unforgettable experience. Each semester, students work together to produce a full stage-play that showcases their unique gifts and talents. These performances have become a highlight of the school year—bringing laughter, inspiration, and joy to the entire school and the larger Breathitt County community.
More than just an extracurricular activity, the drama program is also integrated into the academic experience. Students may participate as part of a class, earning school credit while gaining hands-on experience in various areas of production. From acting and directing to set design, hair and make-up, lighting, and sound, students learn what it takes to bring a story to life from start to finish.
Through the Drama Club, students develop communication skills, self-confidence, and teamwork—all while learning how to use the arts to glorify God. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, every participant plays an important role in creating something meaningful and memorable.
